Putting Down my Z30 for my Q10 for a bit...

I had Q10 from work using BlackBerry Balance. I got the Z30 and instantly dropped my Q10 except for work matters. Just fell in love with the Z30 and liked idea of having personal device separate from business.

I recently had knee surgery and am basically laid up for 8 weeks recovering. My communication on my personal device has gone through the roof with text, email, social media, BBM, CB10 with all the family and friends I love checking up on me. After a day or two I finally gave in. I had to put down the Z30 and start using the Q10 full time. I simply couldn't take typing on my Z30 all day. I love my Z30 and thing it's a much better phone, but after a few days of constant typing I had to get my physical keyboard back. I'll go back to my Z30 as my personal device when I get my life back in order, but for this much heavy use, gotta go with the Q10.

I think I type faster on my Z30 now than I did on my 9900, on which I was pretty fricking fast. But I understand touchscreen typing isn't for everyone, especially in larger volumes.

I can certainly type faster with the z30 than my q5 but I know exactly what you are saying, something about those keys feels natural and no touchscreen will ever really compare

Thanks! Yeah, I agree. While do think I definitely type faster on the Z30. I feel like the Q10 fits my hand and physically touching the keys is easier. With the touch I I had to really focus more cause of the pain meds, lol

I'm quicker on a touchscreen too, but there's just a certain satisfaction I get form hammering out something on my work 9900 that I just don't get on my Z10 or Nexus 5.

I switch between my Z10 and Q10. I might be quicker on my Z10, but I am definitely more accurate on my Q10.

I'll reread something and see that autocorrect has made a couple wrong choices. Sometimes I just CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE and get so frustrated, I go back to my Q10 and stay there for like 3 weeks haha. I miss the keyboard on that phone more than I've ever missed anything about the touchscreen BlackBerry 10 experience. It's nice and all, but if I had to pick one, it would be the Q10 :)

I agree, nothing beats they keyboard when it comes to the heaviest of usage.
