    4) A few times on *soft surfaces* (like from bed to floor, or in the car).

I have a hard case around the phone that protects everything but the keyboard.

I also have Tmo's phone protection plan.

The screen cannot be scratched with the hard cover case.

I drop my phone one at least once every few days but the hard case is such a bad #$#

I have used silicone skins, plastic housings and cases. So far skins work ok.

I have a screen Protector and yes it helps a ton, if it gets scratched I pull out a fresh one peel and stick...easy.

    Not yet considering it though...

old Pearl (now my wife's 10 times. mostly my wife's fault) New Pearl NONE, it will be a week old Saturday LOL.

BTW my wife broke a Plastic housing type case by dropping her Pearl while I was in the Hospital, but the Phone is OK.

Screen protector, Silicone Skin, I have 4 different colors in 2 styles, one OEM covers the back and sides. the other style covers more of the phone for maximum protection, but it's thinner as well because it is aftermarket made.
    Insurance (not yet)
Dropped No Way I would freak out.

    1. Skin
    2. Yes, seems to work fine tho has taken away a tiny bit of the screens impressiveness
    3. Came with insurance but will get rid of it (home insurance covers it anyway)
    4. Never! But it's only a matter of time - the skin offers a little protection & stops it slipping plenty.
