    And yet a discount to book value. This isn't a standard buyout. There is no premium to the price from last quarter. You need shareholder votes, and plenty wouldn't tender their shares at a regular 40-60% premium from the current price.

    USA government can't do anything. Canadian could. It's a tough call. Spied on by usa or China. I'll take us a because we are neighbours and we will be protected by default from attacks. Other than that I don't care. At least China is upfront up how they treat their people. Not store their citizens racy text messages in hopes of cracking the next sleeper cell.

    This doesn't make sense. Why would Lenovo buy BB, kill BB10, and run it on Android? What would Lenovo get out of such a deal? BB hardware or other assets?

    I REALLY hate how these articles speak about BlackBerry (the company) as if it is only a smartphone manufacturer and nothing else. What about QNX and the automotive sector? This article should state something like: Lenovo is interested in purchasing the mobile device portion of BlackBerry's portfolio. Without BlackBerry software on the devices though, what difference does it make to go out and buy a BlackBerry Lenovo that runs Android, over a Samsung Android device? It doesn't make sense to me for BB devices to run Android because there would zero benefit to the consumer to buy a BB device over a Samsung/HTC/(insert Android hardware manufacturer here)
