    Hello,

I was wondering, anyone has a rough estimate how much RIM makes per phone sold?

    Thanks!

I think they make most of their money in bes and bis service rather then handsets.

You are all wrong, by a lot.

Research in Motion manufactures BlackBerry and provides services including BIS/BES. The revenue from the service operations is about 15% of total revenue.
