I have a Blackberry Curve 8520 and I'm experiencing problems with the WiFi.
I got my phone a week ago and I setup the Bluetooth and the WiFi once I'd turned it on (my house has WiFi so that wasn't an issue).
But every now and then, it won't work. It will say 'unable to find requested server'. At first I thought it was the one website I was using (facebook) but it said the same thing whenever I typed in a different site.
There are times when it works for a while and then I click to visit a different page and it will say the same error message.
    Can anyone help me?

How stable and secure is your WiFi signal?

The signal is very stable. I have no problems with any other devices (laptop, computer).

Does the issue resolve itself when trying the next site? Have you tried disabling and enabling wifi? I'm wondering if its a hardware issue or if its an OS issue.

I have to disable and enable it several times before it works. But then it differs, sometimes it will just work straight away.

Are you running the latest OS on your phone? I'm curious if an update will fix it.

I'm not sure. How can I find that out?

Hit Alt + Shift + H. Check blackberry.com for device updates to see if there is a newer OS then the one your phone lists as being on there.

Okay, I updated it. It seems to be working for now so fingers crossed.

    Interesting... very interesting.

All day, my usually rock solid UMA has been absent. I checked the Diagnostics, Red dot and retrying status message.

I suspect it will fix it self soon, but it may also explain your issue.

    edit Friday AM: It's back.
