Hi,
I had a 9900 which I broke by dropping it in a mop bucket! Today I went out and bought a 9320, plugged it into laptop and pressed "restore" on desktop manager. All numbers etc are back but no BBM contacts at all.. I tried the back up by email and it restored it to a blackberry I had 2-3 years ago?
Any advice? I don't have a log of my bbm contacts so can't add manually. I assumed that all my BBM contacts from the 9900 would go onto this new device when restoring.

the 9900 is completely dead so can't back up on to media card. I have tried the email restore but it is restoring a contact list from an old old BB (2-3 years ago)
I just need the data from 9900 (which is on desktop manager) to be applied to the new bb

I am glad you got it sorted out. A good idea would be to download BB Protect app and periodically back up your stuff so that you can always retrieve it.
