I know there has been many posts requesting a fix to the problems that happen when you try to sync the 8830 with MS Outlook 2007. Does anyone know how to get it to work?
I have an 8830 that I sync with Outlook 2003. Other than a problem with calendar appointments, which also affected my 7250 and earlier versions of Outlook, I'm unaware of any specific 8830/Outlook 2007 problems. What specific problem are you having?
The desktop manager doesn't see outlook 2007 as an option to synchronize any of my data on my 8830. The only options available are yahoo and outlook express. I want to be able to use outlook 2007, but can't because it cn't find it.
Someone with Outlook 2007 will have to help with that one. My employer is rolling out Office 2007 over the next couple of months, so eventually I'll be able to investigate it. We have thousands of 8830's, (it's our standard model) and IT has been beta testing Office 2007 for months, so I'm sure the problem has been solved.
