I just recently purchased an 8310. This is my first blackberry and after installing everything and plugging all of my contacts into Microsoft Outlook express, my laptop starting acting strange. Everytime I am typing, every 10 seconds the typing slows significantly for a few seconds as if a program is trying to automatically back itself up or as if the CPU usage on the machine is spiking. Has anyone ever had a problem like this? Is it Outlook express that is causing it? If so what is a better program to use for my calendar and contacts?
to reply to my own post, the problem was (as I suspected) with Outlook express, but as soon as I switched over to the standard Outlook, the problem immediately ended.
If anyone else has the same problem, there is your answer.
