The blackberry hub has become a no go area for me since the 10.2.1 update, it lags and is very unresponsive now. I don't know if there's anyone having the same experience but I've waited long enough and expect that phone ought to have been stable after the update (if there's truly anything like that). Please, has anyone got any ideas???
Have you tried resetting the Hub? When in the Hub, 4 swipes from the top right to the center resets it.

Weird things can happen during and after any platform update. Hold power button or volume up/down (together) for about 25 seconds until the device boots BB logo splash screen. Let it load everything for a few minutes and then try it. Depending on how much was in the HUB to index, it may take a while. Last resort will be to reload the OS. As long as you have your back up handy!
Very odd, for me now with reboot Hub is right there! No longer any wait to populate! And the OS is smoother,slicker than before!

After an update sometimes there are first-run changes in order to update files and settings. parts of the hub may have been referencing old version of files and settings causing the issues you described.
Few little bugs to start off with but after using for a couple of days mine have settled down
