    I've had my bold since it was released in November last year. I feel that I've taken pretty good care of it - no physical damage (aside from a few scrapes and scratches), no water damage, very few software downloads. However, in the last couple months I've noticed a severe decline in the software performance. When I open Google Maps, it can take up to 10 minutes to load the map, and 5 minutes to find my GPS location. When I first got this phone, it would take 5-10 seconds max.

    Also, many times when I open the browser it can take extended periods to load, meanwhile telling me "Requesting..." at the bottom of the window. Pretty much every data connection on my unit has started doing this.

    I know I have a 1 year warranty on the phone, plus I am paying for the insurance plan (with $125 deductible). Should I go to AT&T and try to claim warranty? Or just go with a new model by making claim on my insurance?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
