I can only hear phone calls if I put them on speaker phone. If I don't have speaker phone on, all I hear is a faint squeaking. Is this damaged or are there settings I can change.

My only possible explanation is that my phone was exposed to the direct sunlight for a number of hours without a case.

I have a Q10.

Our Z10s has two with bad ear piece speakers we have narrowed it down to working in a metal working shop replaced speakers twice. One other Z10 and not in metal working shop and no problem with that one.

Yes, I think this has been addressed before; the foreign objects on the speakers. A good air blower will do the job.

I've had that happen if I answer the phone when I'm sweating hard. So far drying has fixed it. Hasn't happened on my BlackBerry yet but have had it happen to other phones
