I just noticed BlackBerry has an option that when you ignore a call. You can send 1 of 3 text messages.

To see what I mean:

-open the phone app
-swipe down from the top
-click on settings
-scroll down until you see "priority calling"
-once there, turn the feature on

Once it is on, you can modify your 3 text messages to say what you want after ignoring a call.

Pretty sweet!

This must be a 10.2 feature. I too don't see it on my Q10 with 10.1MR

I have been looking for this feature. Sometimes when my mom calls & I don't answer she calls back. by sending a quick SMS saying I will callback later I don't have to listen to another call 2 minutes after the 1st one lol

Maybe to let them know why you ignored the call? I think I have this feature on my GS3 too, and on the GS3 it's actually an option while the phone is ringing. Never tried it, but I guess it rejects the call and sends a template text message right away.

I have used this on my phone. It is nice when you are in a meeting and can't answer your phone. It lets them know that you didn't ignore their call, but you just can't answer it right then.

Usually if I ignore someone its cuz I don't want to talk to them. Let alone text them after they got ignored by me. LOL

I have only used this on the iphone, and this is how an iphone works. The phone rings, and it allows you to answer or the option of sending them a predetermined text. I would imagine it would be the same with the others as well.
