New to BB and CrackBerry. Just got a new BB Curve 8530 V5.0.0.337 Platform 4.2.0.136. Cross-graded from years with Palm and Windows Mobile. I see from googling that to save memory on the BB, the BB will delete older calendar entries on the handheld. I'm fine with that, but it seems that synchronization will then delete those older entries from Outlook on the desktop? If so,that's not good. Googling turns up a ton of conflicting information on this issue.
For now, I set the BB calendar option to "Forever" recognizing that this could lead to memory problems, but hopefully that will stave off lost Outlook calendar entries while I get this straight.
Do the new Desktop and BB software that came with this Curve prevent Outlook calendar entry deletes when the BB purges older entries from its calendar?
