I have a new BB Curve 8310 from AT&T. I have downloaded BB Desktop manager 4.6. Now I need to download the OS 4.2.2.170 which is what I have on my 8310. AT&T site only offers a combo of DM(4.3) and os. Please can someone direct me to a site where I can download os 4.2.2.170 with or seperate from DM 4.6.
    My sanity depends on it!

    Thanks,

    Scot

Why not upgrade to the latest 4.5 OS rather than looking for an older 4.2 variant?

DM and the OS are 2 completely separate pieces of software.
You can run 4.6 with no ill effect on your OS.

I am use DM 4.6 on my laptop, 4.5 on my work PC
and 4.2 on my home desktop.

    a...g...,

    Understand they are seperate...
When I click on your link it asks me to download desktop software(with versions up to 4.3). I undertand this to mean Desktop Manager. Am I wrong?

When you select the drop down scroll past the desktop manager area to where devices are listed. Select your device from the drop down; upon proceeding to the next page you will have the option to download the OS. It does not include desktop manager with the download.

    Much gras...

Interpreted menu as a progressive deal and devices listed under 'patch' as downloads for that patch based on device. For those of us 'wary' ones, would like to see a more definitive diferentiation between options.

    Thanks again!
