    Hello to Forum Members,

This is just another simple question that I was curious about. Why does the BlackBerry (my is a BB curve 8330)have a Power Off icon on the screen?I mean It cuts off holding down the hang up button/power off button so why have another power off icon on the screen ?
But all feedback is welcome ,

Maybe a click is easier than holding down the power button. I use the icon. I prefer the icon rather than the power button.

Because when the girlfriend gets mad, I don't hear my phone ringing 24/7.

AG, you took the words right out of my mouth... or fingers in this case! I don't think I've ever used the icon though.
