how do I go about putting my phone number on the t0op pf the display screen of an unlocked 9530 storm for gsm ?

How do you mean?

There is no way to edit the banner of a Blackberry...however, you can go to "Options" then "Owner Information" and put it in there, then when the Blackberry is locked it will display on the screen.

I just want to put my phone # on top of unlocked/gsm Storm phone. I don't want to change anything else on display.
Just want my # displayed i/o 000-000-0000.
Please advise how to do it. Which functions?

If you are using an unlocked Verizon Storm and have "Activation Required" on your home screen or your phone number displays incorrectly, Dial # # 000000 (Send). In the Menu, change the mobile directory number to your phone number and select save. The device will reboot and activate/display the correct number.
