I don't know how "popular" this app is, but it should be. It's called Pleex. Back up your files and contacts, yes INCLUDING your contacts, and recover them online (no need for a pc at all). And it's free. www.pleex.com

Does anyone know of a calendar app for blackberry like the Shift worker app for iphones? Need to be able to use symbols or color codes for a calendar to represent a shift. I have 8 different shifts and they are not recurring, need to put them in manually, like the shift worker app! It would be great if I could find one!
    thanks

Download, run your Desktop Manager, and select Load Application. Then choose the file you want to load.

Note that OTA means Over The Air, and cannot be installed thru computer.
I am VERY confused...how DO I install an OTA? I've tried direct from media card but get errors. I saw references to needing associated COD files--how do I find 'em???

To download an OTA, you don't use your pc. Use your phone's browser, click the link and then download. Now it's installed.

I have no idea. I've never clicked an OTA that didn't work (excpet for when the link had been moved). What are you trying to download?

Something called CarFinder. It's supposed to note your location via gps so you can get back to it. I don't remember where I found it now. There is a similarly named program that is only a free trial before you have to pay.

Are you sure it's an OTA and it's for BlackBerry?
EDIT-here's a working OTA link for the trial version of CarFinder. For OS 4.6 and higher

Hmmm....coulda sworn I found a different program w/out the vq in the name, and it was free free, not try it you'll like it free. Oh well--maybe I was hallucinating. BUT, since the subject arose...where DOES one fine the associated COD files to go with a JAD file?
