I have a Playbook, and I bought an micro HDMI cord but when I hook it up to my TV, the quality is horrible. The picture is a little zoomed in, the image is very grainy, it almost seems to be like a 240p image on the screen, it is not HD quality whatsoever.

I've tried playing with the settings on both my Samsung tv and the playbook, but nothing improves the quality. I have been able to figure out how to 'fit to screen' but that's little consolation.

Is it something with my TV, the playbook, or am I just an . I've been told that the cord shouldn't make a difference, but I when I hook up my laptop, everything works perfectly.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

What's grainy? The Playbook homescreen or a video or what?

I have mixed results with it watching video, but that depends on the source and quality of the videos I've downloaded.

Mine is hooked to a Samsung TV as well, but it seems like it auto-adjusts to the proper screen size on its own.

mine is also connected to samsung tv and it works like a charm. u cannot tell a difference if its some dvd playing or playbook.

i would suggest change your hdmi cable.
