IT Policy Enabled after importing outlook info
- My old Blackberry was setup with BES. As I wanted a phone run on BIS only I asked my company to remove me from BES, they agreed. I recently purchased a new Blackberry which i've setup with BIS only. When I import my contacts, calendar and task from outlook on to my new phone using desktop manager, my phones options>status (using buyr) becomes IT policy enabled, my firewall also becomes enabled. (Before the sync these items are disabled)
Is their a way for me to import my outlook info without the enabling of those items. I prefer if big brother isnt watching through a policy or BES!
Any help would be gfreatly appreciated.

If your company allows it, you could export your contacts from Outlook to a CSV file, email that file to a computer outside the firewall, say your home PC, import them into Outlook there, and sync to that.07-19-10 02:17 PMLike 0
