Hi,

Mine is curve 9300. It was showing App error 523 2 days back. I was not able to do a backup of phone using desktop software since phone was not detecting by the software. So, using bbsak, I read the system and saved all the cods with the word 'address book' in it hoping to restore it back to the phone after resetting/wiping the phone so that i will get all the contacts. But after resetting the phone, when I installed previously copied CODs back to phone, nothing happens..i lost all my contacts. Is there a way to get the contacts back..all i have is the COD files with the word 'address book' (eg-net_rim_bb_addressbook, net_rim_bb_addressbook_app, etc)..Please help..

Personal data isn't stored in COD files. If you don't have a backup, then your data is irretrievably lost.
