I cannot go to his company and reset it because he's in CA and im in NC. I was told to look up blackberry swiss army knife??? Can not find anything....does anybody know how to unlock this ip address to get messenger working???

Not sure about that application, but just Google "remove BlackBerry it policy" and you'll find links to applications that will remove it completely.

I've done it before and it works well.

You need to remove the IT policy from your device and reset it to factory settings so you can use all of your device's features like bbm. Here's a link to Pete's instructions to accomplish this. FYI: the Swiss AK app needs to ne downloaded to your PC where you then follow the instructions to remove the IT policy. I have never done this so hopefully Pete's guide will be enough to get you through it. Good luck.
