I just picked up my BlackBerry Z10 today and after pairing it with my 2012 BMW with the Connected Drive, I can confirm the following:

- Contact list fully syncs
- BT audio works
- BlackBerry Voice Control shows up as one of the contacts!!! When selected, you can run any BB10 voice control commands, like BBM, SMS, etc... I hadn't read this being available as a feature, I guess maybe it's because BMW's Connected Drive is QNX based? This is awesome!

a good example of BB QNX connectivity... BB has been really working on this.... not many pay attention to these possibilities....

I've noticed this with the Parrot 3200LS kit in my 330Ci and the BMW Motorrad Navigator III rebadged Garmin Streetpilot 2820 on my BMW K1200GT SE... being able to send a text message or an email while riding a motorcycle is awesome!

That's awesome! Its good that all the voice control features works with your car. Makes everything safer.

It doesn't have to do with QNX. iPhone's Siri works with the voice control in BMW, Audi, and many others.

For my part, I'm pleased to report that voice control via Vlingo on my 9810 works great in my 1977 Datsun 210 hatchback.

Not necessarily. Apple apparently has some significant gaps in their ability to integrate with certain devices. From an ExtremeTech article on BMW's ConnectedDrive technology:

But because of Apple’s current non-support of key Bluetooth protocols, you better have an Android or BlackBerry phone if you want to try out the BMW dictation function.

BTW - anyone care to wager whether the screen depicted in the article below is a modified Playbook?

Is there a connected drive app or do you have to use dictation? What shows up in the BMW Apps menu on the car?

Is anyone able to reply to emails/text via bluetooth on z10? When i use the navigation wheel i can see a reply button but when I select it i get a forward. I can forward text messages (didn't try with email) but can not reply?

Also does ConnectedDrive support calendar?
