    So I tried updating my os from settings didn't work, so I went on their website and it worked I'm now on 10.1.0.2312 , after 5 mins I checked again and it came up with the same one I downloaded, I'm not sure will I be stuck on this os or will there be an upgrade?

    Well, based on the very little info you gave including the lack of which device you're using the only thing I safely say is.. no, you're not stuck on any OS, if and when the time comes for an update, you'll be able to update to it.
