Overall the device is great for a secondary option. I personally disliked the keyboard because I was so used to my 9900. Battery life is great if you keep the data to 2G which shouldn't be a problem since you will only use it for email and BBM only.

Just for email and bbm it's fine.

I have no problems with it. Keyboard is fine, doesn't compare to Bold's. But it's not bad. 1000mAh battery. So if you're planning to use FB, Twitter, connecting to cloud services. You'd be better off with something with a bigger battery. Other than that, stick to 2G and you'll get great battery.

9360 is one of my favourite BBOS 7 devices I've owned (9320, 9360, 9790, 9810, and 9900). Surprisingly I got a better battery life out of it compared to my 9900. It has a really slim package and I often even forget the phone was in my pocket, so as a secondary device, it should be pretty decent. Plus, it has FM radio as mentioned above, something the 9900 doesn't have. On BBOS you likely won't miss the touch screen anyway since trackpad navigation is pretty decent. For the price, and the package it offers, its still one of my favourite BB devices to carry around.

The keyboard is smaller than the 9900 obviously, but i had no problems adapting to it after a while, and could type just as quickly on both. That is unless you have large hands.

Though for the 9360, you need BIS in order to be able to use email, and BBM (not sure if that's still the case with BBM 7 though).

    I didn't have a 9360, I had the CDMA variant, the 9370.

I loved that little Curve. I preferred it over the 99xx series.

Even though it was an entry device, it was much more reliable than 9930 and the 9810. I actually routinely went from those to the Curve and felt much happier with the Curve.

The first thing I bought for my 9360 was the 9370's battery cover. Prefer it over the glossy one that came with 9360.
