Thought I'd put this question out as I can't seem to find the answer in the interwebs anywhere. But does BlackBerry have its own security team at HQ? Or are they contracted out by companies like G4S, Paragon, Commisionaires, etc.?

Bbry does have a security team you cannot enter a bbry building without having to first go thru the security station with a pass and then on top of that you must pass metal detectors
In production areas and no cameras allowed

And yes they write you up if you accidently bring a camera device unauthorized in

    Actually used to work there

Under lazardis's 1000 new workers at rim program for publicity and probably tax credit
(Fake sad to say waterloo never had an sudden hiring fringe)

It was temp workers that were hired in batches
They did it again for z10

Not completely true. I worked on their electronic security through a third party company. They do have quite a bit of their own internal security guards but contract out quite a bit as well. Stanley used to control the security as in "alarm cameras and network" but that has since changed within 2 years and the contract was given to company B.

Hmm, alright thanks everyone! I'm just trying to see if they'd ever be looking for security personnel as I'd love to join them! I work in the public security field
