    a friend of mine recently bought a BB Pearl off of craigslist after her dumb phone found its way into a cup of grape juice. After she activated the BB it will only allow her to call certain numbers. Any advice on how to fix would be great

    Have her press the phone (green button) > options > FDN Phone List. If it is
    enabled, disable it.

    I also changed your thread title to give others an idea of what you issue is.

    is that specific to the pearl. I was trying to follow your directions using my tour so I could talk her through what she was going to see on her pearl and I don't see FDN phone list

    I think it works that way on all current BBs. I think it did when I had an 8100 but
