Hi
So I have been missing important phone calls
Never had this problem with any of the old blackberries
If my volume setting was normal
My ringtone would be loud enough for me to hear the phone ring from any room in the house
Now the only way I can hear my phone ring
Is if the volume by the "notification" setting, is set to the highest
What's the problem one may ask
So indeed it's a major problem
Cause I get a lot of emails and whatsapp, texts and bbms, and it's so annoying to have them come in so loud
How can I keep the phone ringer on the highest volume
Yet the apps notifications on a much lower volume
Please adviset

Good morning and welcome. Maybe you need to choose a ringtone NOT from the ones given to us and make one of your own. Open the ringtone in Audacity a free and easy to use app and adjust the volume higher. That's what I did with one of my ringtones. Now my phone can be heard over any kids in school!

However, I am surprised that your ringtone is not loud enough. Maybe look into downloading another pre-made ringtone from Zedge or somewhere

The ring tone is loud enough, when set to highest volume
But then my messages come in way way too loud aswell
I should have the option to making the volume of my messages come in way lower than my ring tone!

I downloaded Zedge and found a lovely ringtone
Just now I have no clue where to find it
To change my ringtone to the new downloaded tone!
Its not coming up as an option when I I see the list of available ringtones
Help!
