Quick question for ya...

Is there a script out there that allows you to send a personalized SMS to a group?

The alternative is to create and copy sms message, go through address book, select person, create sms to person, paste message, personalize, and send...

Very long and tedious process especially for over 100 peeps..

Personally have a 8100 Pearl...

Can you make a group entry in your address book?? I have my kids as a group so that I can send mass texts when I have to.

Hey John...

Yes, I have used groups and typically use them a lot...

My question being is there a way of sending a message to a group, and having the sms be personalized with their first name...

ie. "Hey *, we're all meeting at the W at 8pm sharp."

Where * gets replaced with the contacts First Name, and sent only to people in group list, thx... p
