Personal BB: both BIS and BES?

I've a new bb that I purchased for my own personal use. I'm subscribing to Sprint's BIS but would like to connect to my work's BES server to sync work email and contacts and calendars. My question is, can I subscribe to both BIS and my work's BES and will they work together? That is, will I be able to retain my BIS emails (gmail,earthlink, etc.), google calendar sync, internet browsing, and also get my work email and exchange calendar synced as well.
I've read some things that if I turn on enterprise activation with BES, my work's IT policies will be enforced on my bb. True? Still waiting to hear from the bb admins at work.

My co-worker receives work email and personal email on her BB. By going this way, both messages show up in your in-box. I didn't want to filter through my personal emails while at work so I just use Yahoo! Go to check my personal Yahoo! email. But to set-up both, go to Enterprise Activation to set it up through BES and then go to Personal Email Set-Up for your personal mail. Before my BB arrived after I ordered it, I got the BES license and sent it to IT so they could add me to the server. After they added me, they sent me the password to use when I set up the enterprise email. So when I got my BB, I was ready to go and it was syncing with my work Outlook in no time.
