updated my pearl 8100 OS to 4.5.0.162. but now my blackberry turns on loads up on shuts off over an over what can i do to fix this? every couple of time it will stay on for about 5 mins then shut off. this is the link i use 2 get the new os from blackberryrocks.com

I go to Smartphones, Cell Phones & Smart Phones at BlackBerry.com. and downgrade to your original OS or try reinstalling 4.5~

well this is wierd i am trying everthing so i took out my 512mb memory card an it hasnt shut off yet. Does anyone know why?

Sometimes the memory card can get corrupted during an OS upgrade. Move your files off the card, reformat the card in the BB, then move your files back on the card.

Then buy a larger memory card. 512MB????

ok so i reformatted the card an added everything back after i went though the card to make sure everything was there an it shut off turned on over an over....it was fine till i put stuff on the card so now wuts wrong>
