I keep trying to get a custom pin on BBM. I get to the payment part. I keep getting rejected by PayPal. So yes, I went into PayPal account. It said to reset pin. Huh? I can't anywhere in Paypal where I can reset pin. I use Paypal on my iPad, no problem. I use it on ebay on my PP and Q10, no problem. The only time I have a problem is when I try to use my BlackBerry and pay for BlackBerry items. Frustrating.

still doesn't answer the question, why BlackBerry? Netflix, ebay, crackberry, godaddy, and a slew of other websites and services work fine with it BUT the only one that doesn't is BlackBerry.

I too am being asked to log in to my PayPal account when I try to purchase the custom pin. In my case this is what I think happened.

I had previously tried to buy the 'no ads' subscription. Every time I tried, I'd get a greyed out screen after I hit the subscribe button. I tried several times but I was never able to get past that greyed out screen.

One day, weeks later, I get an email from PayPal about authorising a subscription to an unknown recipient. I log in to my account, check it out and notice a subscription from BlackBerry Commerce. The allowed amount is over $1500! So I cancel it.

Now I have to log in to my PayPal account for this BBM subscription. All in all, at least in my case, this payment system hasn't worked the way it should. Perhaps this is what happened to you as well.
