I can't say I've noticed any thumb pain associated with typing on my Passport. There are times when my arthritis kicks in and various parts of my body aches, including my thumbs but I put that down to the weather.

If I ever wake up feeling no pain I'll be afraid I'm dead.

    No thumb pain though

I have the sore thumbs issue because after working 30 years of doing repetitive task, it's taken its toll, but I have learn to work around it.

Doesn't stop me from using my passport versus a touchscreen keyboard. I find I type much more accurately on a physical keyboard and that's a big plus considering the primary use is for my business.

Not here, but I tend to do short bursts of typing and not long term use at once

There is the Blackberry thumbs syndrome, seriously.
The Passport keyboard is wider and your thumbs would have to move and bend more to get to the outer keys, which would put more stress on the joints. I got arthritis and I can feel it a couple of days after receiving the Passport.
Also, with the previous QWERTY BBRY, I hit the key with the side of my thumbs, or more toward the side. With the Passport, it is more to the center of my thumbs, which help easing the problem with the knuckles.

Initially my thumbs and hands were sore but three weeks in you can't get me to give up this phone. I can even type without looking at the keyboard!

I've never had a blackberry or used a keyboard before the passport and I do feel my thumbs get sore. My wife always used blackberry/ qwerty phones and she doesn't feel anything and her hands are much smaller then mine.

I used to get sore thumbs with' my 9790 and even my Q10 because I have big hands and they were quite small to me.

Never with the Passport. Perfect match.

Yes I do. Coz the keyboard is too addictive! But I'd rather deny this and put the blame as occupational hazard.
