I've had most of the Blackberry phones Z10,Q10,Z30 and now the awesome passport. I've always bought the genuine leather belt clip holster to keep my phone safe. Anyone know why the one for the passport is �99 I know it's a bit bigger but that is a silly price.

Well they charge 49.99 for a cheap plastic priv case. It's proportional pricing when you look at the amount of leather involved on the passport holster.

The OEM BlackBerry Passport holster is really nice..very elegant, and surprisingly slim and light, almost like origami. I thought it was overpriced too, but I can honestly say it is the best holster for the Passport I have tried so far, and I have tried several.

Live and learn. I would go into more detail but frankly it's a little embarrassing having worn out or broken 3 non-OEM holsters in less than 6 months. Just trying to save someone else the time and dollars wasted to reach the same conclusion. :-)
