My passport screen broke now it's away for repairs, o2 gave me a ridiculous courtesy phone but it is useless, can I use a bold, curve or torch for a couple of weeks or will I need bis for this?

You must have BIS on your cellular account for any legacy (pre-BB10) to work properly.

Yep, & IIRC, BB AppWorld would also work.

Get LogicMail for email if you want (don't know if it's still available/ updated/ supported though).

Thanks that should get me through, I know one thing now since the loss of the passport, I won't be going Priv, in using our android tablet now and I hate it, didn't know how much I need the passport till its gone.
