I've been trying to transfer info from my long used Palm to my new (and I LOVE it) 8130. When I try to use the desktop manager switch device wizard it doesn't "see" the Palm. Any thoughts?

I'm still unable to get my contacts. I've even tried to get them from my Palm Desktop.

Are your contacts in Outlook? I couldn't get the Bberry manager to "see" my Q either, I had to sync the Bberry to outlook.

I agree. Just sync with Outlook with your old Palm and sync again with you 8130.

A Verizon rep told me that it only syncs to Microsoft Outlook...

Anyone know if this is true?

I finally got it to sync. It didn't format the way I want it, but it's there. I have almost 800 contacts with information other than just phone numbers that I'm not looking forward to editing.
