I tried Skype(beta) for playbook, 2012 version, and it is discharging my battery rapidly. I can get 2 days with IM+ and wireless on, about 20+ hours of work. With new Skype I have less than 10 hours. What a **** is that software doing??? It is only chat software and I didn't even have any chats one day. That is one bad peace of software. Totally unsecured probably, what is that it is working on whole day???

ooVoo did not give you a virus. Millions use ooVoo with no virus. Thats like saying I tried Microsoft Word once but it gave me a virus. I don't know where you got your download from.

I have oovoo and it's basically the bootleg Skype. As long as we get Skype with other 3rd party video chat alternatives then we should be fine.
