Theyre already done making the 9800 sequelS-Key wordd-there are 2 of them I guess thats why the price was slashed..It also has os 6.3 I guess what they did was instead of releasing os 5.2 like they were supposed to, they renamed it os 6, and the reallll os 6 that was supposed to come out is prob 6.3 Just a wild guess but heres the link Driphter.com First 2 posts
Looks like im not buying the 9800 after all I wonder how mad most of you that bought it are gunna get LOLLLL
BB Leaks doesnt believe these are 100% real. Also, these would most likely be CDMA versions of the Torch for either Sprint or Verizon. That would help explain the OS6.3 to which BB Leaks thinks it is due to the 4G radio.
I'm not worried about these because I'm already with AT&T and still hope to be able to upgrade to the regular 9800.
someone said that its supposed to be in spanish, so thats why it might be spelled funky.
but why would BB be tested in spanish and not english?
its a lil fishy. iono, i dont think its real either. no evidence over here, just a hunch
I'm not saying I think it's real or fake but I do know that some Blackberry's are made in Mexico. This could be one used for testing of quality in Mexico.
Odds are these are both CDMA - for Verizon & Sprint.
A while back it was stated somewhere that one of the first LTE handsets for Verizon would be a BlackBerry, so its possible one of these is destined for Verizon's LTE network this winter.
Since Verizon & Sprint each use different 4G Technologies, it makes sense that there would in fact be two different 4G BlackBerry sliders - one for each carrier.
AT&T would not see either, as their 4G network is not supposed to be active for a while.
I'm not saying these photos are definitely real - but i'm saying it's feasible that they are in fact legitimate.
Ummm....that article is totally inaccurate. Amazon and Wirefly have had the price at $99 since launch day, so there was no slashing of prices. Those companies typically offer a discount versus the carrier. Lookup the price of 9650 on Wirefly and compare it to Verizon...you will see the same discount.
