Does anyone have an OtterBox hard cover for their BB device? I was given one a few days ago for my Q10. I put it on but me personally, I prefer without the cover knowing full well its safer to have one on. Anyone feel the same?

I like to have something on my phones. I don't care much for the Otterbox cases that I've seen because I think they're a bit bulky, but they supposedly do offer good protection. I had an Incipio DualPro on my Z10, which has a thin soft inner shell and a hard outer shell but didn't add too much bulk. That cracked for no apparent reason, and then I tried a Sedio Surface case, which isn't bad. I have no idea how much protection they actually offer, because I (ssshhhhhh!!!) haven't dropped my phone yet. I now have a Transform shell case on my Z30, which looks like it offers next to nothing. So I'll be looking for something else for that.

I know what you mean, because these are nice looking phones that you just don't want to cover up. But I've seen too many other devices get cracked with what seemed like a harmless fall; my opinion is better safe than sorry. On the other hand, there are plenty of people who have never used a case of any kind and never had a problem. And no case is 100% break-proof. So it's really just a matter of preference.

I feel the same its why I switched to a cover that is not too thick. I am currently using minisuit's cover for my BB. Thanks.

My boss bought one for himself (Z30) and gave it to me after about a week. It was too bulky for his girlie hands. I said I would try it out for a couple days. Been about a week now and I can honestly say, I like it. Nice grip and feel in the hands. Hides the aesthetics of the phone but you have to give up one for another

The otterbox defender is a bit bulky, I preferred their commuter case. Not as much protection, but less bulky. Unfortunately they don't make the commuter case for my Z10. Right now I'm using a Seidio Active case, I think they've changed the name to Dilex. It seems to be a good sturdy case, but doesn't add too much bulk. Still wish otterbox would make a commuter case for my Z10 though.

I'm a proud owner of a Q10 and I bought an Otterbox Defender a couple of months ago. I use it only on holidays when I take a lot to of pictures and the risk of dropping the device is much higher than at the office! I think it's a bit too bulky to use it everyday. The BlackBerry pouch and holster are nice for daily use.

Dropped my Z30 on its corner yesterday. Really glad I had the Otter Commuter case.

If there was a strap for my finger on the back, it would be perfect.

I have a Q10 in a defender case. Wish the keyboard was covered, like on the 9780 case.

Either way, the case is a must as i find the phone too small!!!

I use the otterbox defender. I does add a bit of bulk but for me I like it. It adds a layer of grip to the device and excellent protection for my when I'm at work. I get the defender for all of my devices.

I use a Genuine BlackBerry Leather Pouch for my Z10 & Z30. Keeps them safe.

I use otterbox for both my Q10 and Z10 and they are great cases. The customer service for otterbox is fantastic, I have broke my holster on my Q10 broke and the rubber cover has become stretched on both and they gave me full replacements. My daughters iPhone case was cracked and they also sent her a replacement. They were at the door I think within 3-4 days. I recommend them to everyone
