I,m not 100% sure how OTA works but I tried emailing some apps and themes in .jad file format that i downloaded to my laptop then i emailed them to my blackberry email thinking i could download the .jad as an attachment since I lost my usb cord. It wont open the attachment in bb email. How can I load a .jad from bb email if its even possible? I have a curve 8330 by the way

You need more than a JAD file to install an app. And emailing it won't work. You need to go to the website from your browser to install OTA.

That's correct. OTA is meant to be done from the BB browser.
