I've got a Curve 8330 from Verizon. Is it worth going through the hassle of upgrading from OS 4.3 to 4.5?

try posting this in the proper forum next time for maximum replies. theres an 83xx forum a little farther down the page. and yes, i would say that 4.5 is worth the upgrade.

Better browser, more file free memory, better memory management, support for larger memory cards, and a video camera.

I would say it is worth it.

It also comes with doc to go standard. For that it was worth it to me alone. I use word all the time.

Oh yes, and how could I forget. Verizon enabled support for GPS in BB Maps, in addition to VZNavigator with 4.5 in the Pearl and Curve series.

I found better battery life when moving from 4.3 to 4.5 on my curve, the phone works all day for me now, where I used to charge it over lunch to make it to the end of the work day because it was shy about an hour.

It allows you to open native Word, Excel, PDF, and PowerPoint files stored on your sdcard.
