Was just watching bbin's interview with Gary Kalssen (inventor of BBM)

Apparently in 2004 they were getting ready for an internal launch of BBM when an early beta leaked, swept across the company & caused havoc. It's ironic that now 9 years later when getting ready for a cross-platform launch the same thing happened. An early beta leaked & caused havoc.

Thing is, it was just starting out, the servers were new and BBM was pretty much new to them.
