    You guys are beating a dead horse. He has already stated he is running a Netgear router. He will continue to have issues until he replaces that router.

    ok, i accept that i'm now flogging a dead horse, but why is it only blackberrys that have these wifi problems? no other phones that i know of do!

    Because Blackberries use a different protocol than other phones. Their IP stack is different and handled differently.

    Try installing opera mini browser and see if that will work over your wifi.

    Already have opera installed, makes no diference
