    I think 8$ per month would make it very affordable for markets like Indonesia and India. Massive markets at that price points.

    in indonesia there already promotion for credit card holder, you can buy any unlocked phone with 0% interest for 12 months (all brands) and sometimes up to 24 months (samsung and apple device only)

    there are lot of android phone with $8/ month installment for 12 months
