Just came across this article about the future of BB10 and Blackberry , just posted today from :

this from a business writer. Interesting perspective but I doubt he had any Blackberry products before and still harping on lack of apps again for he upcoming BB10
Seems legit, blackberry will never have the app quantity competitors do but so what?

The major factor that separates BB10 from WP8 and the web os failure is BB has a large fanbase. MS has never had any real traction and Palm was dwarfed by the success of BB. If a third of RIMs 80 million current customers upgrade to BB10 thats 26 million right there, not including new and past users coming back. I think BB10 has a really good shot at taking off.
That article was hilarious when taken as a whole. The writer apparently loves the Z10, very impressed but sprinkled his article with the
customary poo poo on RIM, he obviously has "yesterday syndrome" TM.

Good points there but the majority of BB users elsewhere are likely using lower end BB devices so from what those BB10 devicesthat are are going to come out in the coming months, the number of BB users upconverting might not be there. I hope that BB do put out a BB low to mid level device by middle of this year to capture these users
