Works fine on my 8900. Anyone find the wifi settings anywhere...??
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com
This is working on my 8310, despite the site saying it's not yet supported. Only think I can't figure out is how to delete links from the speed dial on the main screen. Screen caps I have seen show an edit option at the bottom of the screen, but it's not there on mine. Anyone figure it out?
Solved - Highlight box you wanna clear and press Alt - 1/w
Doesn't seem to work right on the 8120. Same white screen problem, but I couldn't access any menus via the bb button either. I didn't have any other Opera installed before either.
it works but it made itself the default browser for links in emails and stuff. couldnt figure out how to change that so it went bye bye.
Just got this on my VZW 8330. So far it looks and runs great. Tabbed browsing is awesome :D
nevermind got it to load TOS..... So 9530 on .191 what could be making me not able to get a landscape mode? Any settings I could check that I havent thought of?
Word of warning: do not turn off "Inline Editing", as it will freeze your berry. Also, has anyone else noticed what happens when you hit delete? On the Tour, it doesnt stop deleting. Very annoying! But for that being the only q uarks, I can deal.
Yup I was pretty stoked on that till I realized that the original "get link" option for the native browser is gone. Dont know if that is a good thing or bad thing yet?
Is working on my Pearl 8130 just fine. Small low-res screen sucks though. :D
Also am noticing that hitting the menu button does nothing and no way to paste in a link in the address bar. Running on Storm and selected the download abyways option.....is that why?
Anyone else?
Just downloaded it on my Strom. This is the best browser ever. It loaded the nonmobile crackberry page in about 2 seconds. Now if it only had flash....
Running on my Storm nicely.. Need to figure out how to Download videos though
doesn't work for me ... It can't connect to my network during setup
I'am connect on WIFI and opera 4.2 work perfectly
it says "No working network connection detected"
Got to the page. Said "Tour detected" but no download ahyway links. Guess I'll wait
works for me after a battery pull, looks good so far.
Awesome! Kinda liked the navigation on the old opera better but now i have 2 operas! even though i dont need 2 since we have tabbed browsing now.
how do u work the tabbed browsing?
Press the menu button on your bb. the menu will drop down and at the very top you will see the name of the page you are on and next to that is a plus sign click on it and it will open a new tab.
Has anyone figured out how to save an image from a website?
Warning--The Opera download site says:
"Opera Mini 5 beta - Download
Phone detected: RIM - BlackBerry 9630
We haven't yet verified that your device is able to run Opera Mini 5 beta"
Tried it on my 9630 running hybrid 4.7.1.40/5.0.0.140. Didn't work.
Bummer...I got the white screen/red bar (Opera browser | Faster & Safer Internet...) page also.
Update, not that anybody cares...roflol! Did a battery pull and it works now.
This browser is great!
this thing is awesome,i can feel the treo sales hitting rock bottom lol!
I had to do a battery pull to get it to work.
Runs on my 8230. Full page sites load and scroll great!
URL and menu fonts are too small, and scrolling in the graphical menus and the home page is a little funky.
Otherwise it seems really slick.
Anyone know anything about having YouTube work? Just wondering.
