Hi,
I just got a blackberry tour. Is it possible to open up a pdf document as a file?
Stored in the data folders?
I know it can open pdf's from the browser. Thanks.

I use BeamReader. Its a purchase application but works great for any PDF files I need to review.
When you receive a PDF attachment in an email you can view it. After it has been saved as a data file, you can longer view it with the Attachment viewer.
That has created a market for third party applications like BeamReader.
Applications developers, like nature, abhor a vacuum.
beam reader is a beautiful app....lol
The Premium (paid) version of Docs to Go has a nice PDF reader too.

Thanks for the info! I'll check em out.
Take a look at Repligo Reader. I have both Beam Reader and Repligo Reader. I prefer Repligo. Beam Reader has a built in file browser that seems to hang a lot after I put in my 8 GB card. No issues with Repligo.

Hi,
Repligo looks good. only slightly more than BeamReader.
The verizon store told me to try sending the pdf as an attachment to the Tour and then open up the pdf in the mail app, but it wouldn't open. Also they told me to rename the pdf to a jpg and open it as a picture but that didn't work either!
Thanks.
Is there a free pdf viewer for BB?
Not that I am aware of...
