I'm looking for a theme, which shows just today's angenda.(like the "nokia homescreen") I don't want to see the following days' appointments.
Is this possible? Are there already themes for it?

This app does what you want:
deToday - The Revolutionary Today Screen App on CrackBerry App Superstore
There is a setting to use "only today's appointments".

I downloaded deToday but deleted it right away. I had a little problem with this app. This app when it's enabled gives you the option to either choose a plain colored background or a custom image (an image saved on your media card). When I chose a particular image for my background, there was no way of changing it later when I wanted to. Every time I lock my phone the background reverts back to the image I first chose even after I've changed it. I also tried deleting it, did no good, would go back to the image I chose on deToday and I have no idea how since I've deleted it from the media card.

Two words: USER ERROR.
This app works perfectly. I've been using DeToday for over a year and it does not do what you are saying unless configured that way. Theres a setting in options:
When device is locked show: Same info as when unlocked OR Only current background OR System background.
Hey everyone. Thanks for reading this. I am going to start by saying that I am just using the free trial ver at the moment but it does look very well done and seems to fit the bill very nicely. But, I have to ask if the paid version users experience the following. On my 9810 you can see where the entry is covered if I move my cursor down.
Does this happen to anyone using the paid version on their 9810 specifically. Not to sound rude, but I would really like to hear from fellow 9810 users. Should also note on the free version I only have access to the following options as indicated in the picture included.
I was aware of these options. To elaborate more on my problem. When I wanted to change the wallpaper it would change but once I lock my device it would go back to the wallpaper I chose to have on the app, so I had to keep changing it, but it was no good because it would go back to the same pic. This shouldn't happen because the app was disabled. Nevertheless, it's a great app if I haven't got this small issue I would've kept using it for a long time. But this doesn't mean that others WILL definitely experience this exact problem. I just wanted to share this info. So for those of you who want an app that shows your appointments on the home screen, then this is the perfect app for it.

See my screenshot above in post 2. You have to set the top margin to a higher number.
Not an option in the free version, at least not in the options I see. I will try looking around to see if I am missing something.

Third time posting this. Seems the options are hidden once the app is enabled. Looks much nicer now. Gonna be 5 bucks poorer.

Can't you just do this?
The stock theme only displays the next 3 calendar items, but the OP was asking if there is a theme that just shows items for the current day.
DeToday has that option (but can also show appointments for the following day, week, etc) along with keeping them on your homescreen (without having to tap on the notification bar), and you can have more than just the stock theme's 3 items (and change font size, color, and location on homescreen):
