Hotmail has had an outage for the last two days and I haven't seen it on the global news at all...so why does it hit the news all over when there is a BIS outage? ;-)

Hotmail works for me........no issues either on BB or my laptop

I've read in MS forums it may be partial depending on the server you are on and related to their migration to Outlook.com. I was out all day yesterday, fixed last evening and have again been out all day today. This is the report from MS I get:

Don't fall out of your chair....but.....I still have an AOL account I use for online forums.

I don't use Gmail except for the Google Play Store.

I love my Hotmail account.

Well funnily enough, so do I! And the thing is, that email account works beautifully, with barely ever a problem.

Well that's probably why it isn't all over...too many people in the world still using AOL. :-)

I just find it curious that when there are some BIS outages it always seems to make the evening news. If you go to the MS support forums there are lots of people complaining about Hotmail outage but I guess if this forum is an indication, maybe it's not as widespread as I had thought. I bet MS won't offer me free Windows 8 apps either.
