One year ago today: M Lazaridis bought $50 million of RIM shares. How has it worked out?

If you'd shorted Apple and bought RIM at the same time in the summer of 2012, you'd have roughly tripled your money by today.

Yes, he did something no one else did. But when others did he did nothing. RIM was stuck in time. They will never be a dominate as they once did Period.

I was under the impression that QNX systems was bought when Lazaridis was steering the wheel?

While it is true that you have the right to speak, especially because you entrusted your money to him, you can't exactly say things as if all of his decisions were bad. Especially considering he's the entire reason you even trust your money to him (he's one of the people who built RIM up)
