-it's smaller and more "pocketable"
-has a better camera (3.2 vs 2.0) which also has flash
-it's lightweight
-the phone looks better than the Bold imo
-it's on T-mobile
I don't really need 3G because EDGE is decent and I'm usually near WiFi anyway.
The 8900 has a slightly better screen (480×360 vs 480×320).
They're not very different from one another. Both are great phones.
I'm on TMo too, so I would go with your reasons! 8900!
If you like the smaller form factor of the 8900, I would suggest waiting for the 9700, which will be out next month. It has all the features of the 8900 plus a trackpad and 3G.
If you like a larger form factor, then get the 9000, since a device its size is not going to be available for a while.

How big are your hands? Can u type comfortably on 8900's keyboard? How many apps will you really need? If you need lots then the 9700 if you need 3G otherwise I guess the 8900 will be fine. My theory is get the best one you can afford.

I personally would say the bold. I cannot deny the 8900 has more ram but I prefer the size of the bold. The bold does have 1 GB internal storage which add a up too a 32 GB card *when they are available* and you have a total of 33 GB of storage. Plus the only reason why I prefer 3G is the fact that you can send/receive emails, browse the web and run google maps all while talking on the phone. Plus the kb on the bold is what I love!
I had the Bold 9000 before I got my 8900, now I use the 8900 most of the time, I only use my Bold for the internet when I am at home (the bold stays at home when I go out) but the 8900 is always with me.
Regards
Chris
